Long-Neck Bağlama

A classic long neck with an intuitive acoustic design. Optimized for low-tension strings and well suited to ambient music. This saz was made in our workshop in 2025 using Indian rosewood and spruce. Every part was worked by hand; the frets were tied to suit the player's repertoire.

Material

Indian rosewood and spruce are the principal woods of this saz. The rib carries warm, dense low frequencies while the soundboard projects the upper harmonics. The neck is firm enough to hold tuning; the frets are nylon.

Sound Character

Full and resonant on the low strings; bright on the high strings without ever being thin. This saz was especially favored for slow airs and long-form melodies (uzun hava).
