Cocobolo-Rib Divan

A rib carved from the dark, heavy cocobolo of Central America. Warm lows, bright highs — a contemporary reading of the traditional divan. Bu saz, atölyemizde 2025 yılında cocobolo · ladin göğüs kullanılarak yapıldı. Her parçası elle işlendi; perdeleri kullanıcısının repertuvarına göre bağlandı.

Material

Cocobolo and a spruce top are the principal woods of this saz. The rib carries warm, dense low frequencies while the soundboard projects the upper harmonics. The neck is firm enough to hold tuning; the frets are nylon.

Sound Character

Full and resonant on the low strings; bright on the high strings without ever being thin. This saz was especially favored for slow airs and long-form melodies (uzun hava).
